In recent years, nanotech application is witnessing rapid growth in Suzhou Industrial Park. Homing nearly 350 nanotech companies with an output of 28 billion RMB, SIP has become an area that has the highest concentration of nanotech businesses in China. Nanotech application, as a role model for the industrial upgrading, emerging industry development and technological innovations in SIP, is receiving broad recognition from the national, provincial and municipal governments.

 

Suzhou Industiral Park has successfully held CHInano for 6 consecutive years since 2010. As the largest and most influential event of its kind in China, CHInano has seen active participation and received extensive recognition from nanotech powers all over the world. The seventh CHInano, which will be held at Suzhou Industrial Park International Expo Center during Oct 26 ~ 28, boasts a size of 10000m2. International and regional exhibitors from more than 8 countries and regions such as Russia, Canada, Iran, Korea, Beijing, Shenzhen, Taiwan and Saudi Arab will meet here to share their latest nanotech products and technologies with each other and the audience.

 

Suzhou Industrial Park was approved by State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C in 2014 as the pilot zone for developing patent-guided nanotech industry; in 2014, SIP Patent Management and Service Center became a pilot enterprise for patent management and gained a special fund of 10 million RMB from State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C. In order to further the development of SIP's operation on patent guidance and management with the aid of domestic and foreign resources, SIP will host "International Summit on Patent Navigation Industry Development & Conference on Patent Management Platform Matchmaking".
