As a demand-driven industry, cleanroom technologies are forced to innovate to meet the ever more stringent technological requirements on the demand side. As modern technologies develop on a microscopic and integrated level, they have posed more pressing demand for clean technologies and the entire clean industry. Clean technology is facing demands from the current semiconductor technology which has entered Nano scale, the flat panel display technology which is converting from TFT towards new display technologies like AMOLED, the multiple applications of Nano new material technology, the development and popularity of gene technology, the aerospace technology and intelligent manufacturing technology. This fast-changing demand is pushing the entire cleanroom industry to transform and upgrade itself, a force to push our country’s as well as the global clean industry’s development.

 

As the globe evolves from an industrial society to information society, various new technologies are emerging one after another with the traditional technologies phasing out rapidly. In the meantime, new technologies such as material technology, energy technology, bio-pharmaceutical technology and gene technology, etc. are developing in synergy and catalyzing the reform of the society and modes of production. Internet of things, space exploration technology like aeronautics and astronautics, new display technology, intelligent manufacturing technology, robot technology, deep-sea probing technology, additive manufacturing technology and quantum computing technology are all emerging in modern production and modern lives in new forms. These new technologies have more new demands on the production environment, traditional clean technology is no longer adequate for the demand of these new technologies on micro-fabrication, micro-integration and zero-interference, etc.; new clean technologies are in urgent demand to provide new production environment for these new technologies.

 

This conference focuses mainly on the new demands on clean technology by the nanotech industry, new energy and new materials. It aims to improve our country’s clean technology, facilitate the communication and collaboration within the industry, and accelerate the integration and alignment of our country’s clean industry with the international standards.
